Technical New soft top question

I’ve started to fit a replacement soft top. What do you do with the webbing straps at the front

I looked at my top and I don’t have that strap. No idea

When I fitted mine I think I pulled through the strap from the other end so it just went inside the front end. I think the folded over bit of the strap stops where the doubled over bit stops so it doesn't work its way through. Can't remember if I cut of the spare at the back end... I seem to think there is still a bit sticking out the back. This is mine - if you zoom in on the furthest away front corner you can just see a bit of strap sticking out.
