how sh*t a week am i having... have just had two tyres replaced, now the other side front has just gone?!? It's weird tho, its coming from where the tyre joins the wheel (ie no split to see) and looks like the wheel is buckled, although i cannot work out how this could of happened ;)

Anyway, at £100 a tyre, i really hope it's something they can fix!?!

Plus i've just gone and reversed into the kerb on the back ;), so kerbed it, (about 5 cm's worth) anyone know if i can do a repair or summit on it (its now all shiny...) or how much it costs to get it filled in?

What a bloody nite!

100 quid? For a tyre? Is it gold-plated or summat?

Boy am I out of touch ...

my understanding on alloy repairs is that it really depends on the damage - i had a chunk repaired in one of mine for £100 and that was at my fiat dealer

best idea is to get some quotes m8

..anywhere upto 8600rpm!
You could of hit a pothole and buckled your alloy.
Some alloys are very soft i know a couple of people who have done this included a friend who done it in his Audi RS4
Makes you wonder what we pay road tax for??

Sorry, are we talking £100 per wheel, or per tyre [?]

The tyre was £100.. (£85 + fitting) but this other sh*t is the alloy wheels itself that seems buckled. Kwik Fit said i need a new wheel (£250 ish i think) whereas the other place said they may be able to use rubber cement to fill in the gap.

My trick up my sleeve is to take it to a different garage to get the tyre turned (the rotation is the wrong way around) and see if that solves it (lucky chance i know)...
