Hi All,

In the never ending upgrade of my 1972 Giardi, (650 conversion) I can start the car, but will only run if the choke is partially on.
I have verified every adjustment on the original carb., but no change.
I was reading that with the conversion I will need a bigger carb.?
Is that correct, and if so where can I get a bigger carb?
I understand that the Giardiniera is a more difficult motor to get parts for.

Cheers

One of these would let you fit Weber 30DGF from a Panda 30 or a Weber 30DIC, both twin choke carbs.

Sorry to everyone for the autocorrect changing " Carburetor " to arbitrator?? Don't know how to change?

Thank you Toshi, Any idea where I can source the carbs?
And is it necessary to change my carburetor or is there an adjustment I am missing?

Cheers

Panda 30 Weber 30DGF carbs are quite rare in the UK, there are usually a number of the restricted 30DGF carbs from the 126 Bis water cooled models around in fact I have a spare one. I also have a collection of rebuilt Weber 30DIC carbs that I have sourced over the years as they were one of the first crb to be used for 500 tuning.

Thank you Toshi for your help.
Which one of the carbs would you recommend I use on my Giardiniera? Are the ones you have in working order or need to be rebuilt? Cost?
Where could I find the manifold you referred to?
Cheers

Either carb would be good but to get a Weber 30DGF from a Panda 30 you would most likely have to go shopping in Italy.
A good place to shop for the Weber 30DIC carbs is the US or Australia & New Zealand as quite a few Fiat 850 Spider and Sport Coupe cars were sold there. Having said that you do not want a US model Weber 30DICA carb as they had additional emission control bits added on. So a Weber 30DIC 1 to 10 version would be best. Lots for sale in Italy at what seem to be reasonable prices and you tend to get what you pay for if you are lucky as I found out as you can’t tell the state of the carb until you have it in your hands.
I sell rebuilt carbs from £250 and to do that I have had to source spare parts from the US, Australia, New Zealand and a number of European countries.
The supplier for that manifold is shown on the picture, DiAngelo Motori.
