So after 4 years of studying I'll finally be working again from September. That means I can finally wave bye bye to my Vectra in full Disappointment trim.
The question is: do I gp for an Alfa 159 1.9JTD, or a Bravo 165mjet? I'll be looking to spend around 6-6.5k I reckon.

Or.... I could save some money and go for a cheaper Bravo 1.4t-jet....

I haven't driven any of the above as yet, but I definitely will do before making any decisions. I just wanted to know what your thoughts were as I know many of you have experience with Alfas and of course, Bravos.

Will you be doing enough miles/long distance journeys to warrant a diesel?

Edit: Also, grats ;)

Cheers mate :)

Yeah, my journey to work is really short - only about 6 miles. However, at weekends we tend to go on fairly long journeys with the kids to take them to see various things. We think nothing of a 100m mile round trip to take them to new park or something (well, Mrs doesn't, but I always have to drive :bang: )
