Its funny the ammount of people you see turning up after 12pm... why the hell do people bother to go if there gonna turn up 3 hours after the place opens.. waste of time and money.

Was really busy, 80 minute queue for air and oblivion, and they broke down twice, just got back now, also found out that mixing a nokia n95 with a log flume was a bad idea tbh lol, oh well.
any day is free at alton, simply park in the normal car park, then walk to main entrance, and when no one is watching, jump the fence, or limbo under it, and have a free day out (minus outragous car park charge).
or just go in the many unattended staff entrances
alton towers is owned by DIC (dubai international capital) which is a front for Sheikh Maktoum's private investments. why on earth does he want alton towers?!

i heard Tussauds Group (inc alton towers) lost money every year since 1998, mostly due to interest paid on debts.
