Alfa 147 2005 2.0 Ts Body control unit

Hi.
I have a 2005 Alfa 147 2.0 TS
Body control unit wet, therefore no lights, wipers, indicators.
Was wondering if anyone could advise if I buy a different serial no bcu, could that be cloned to my current ECU.
