Need help! VW Golf 1.4 TSI or Golf 1.2 TSI?

I am trying to choose between 2015 VW Golf 1.2 TSI and Golf 1.4 TSI. The price is similar but I am not sure about the fuel consumption and HP. I am not looking for powerful car but I have concerns regarding the 1.2 TSI’s HP especially since it’s a used car. does it worth buying 1.4 tsi instead of 1.2 tsi ?:bang::bang:

Buy the 1.4, infinitely better set up than the 1.2, or do what I did and buy the 2.0tdi, which still gets better economy than both.

VW can be a bit odd with their engines they tune them up and down depending on the model of the car, however if I had gone with the 1.4TSI in mine it would have had an extra 10hp over my diesel.

The golf is a heavy car for a 1.2 to drag about even with a turbo.

If you are looking for better fuel consumption make sure it’s a bluemotion model.

Everything sold after September 2015 is a euro6 engine
