anyone know where i can get air box seal? just rang up foat and they wanted £12. i think thats a lot just for a rubber seal.

If this seal is missing and air not being sucked through air filter does this mean mixture will be weak (too much air)??Rubber seal between air filter box and carb missing
Presume a leak here means air not being sucked through filter and mixture is weak, so is this seal important to replace??

MarkforI used to make things when I was more involved with cars. Half the fun for me was coming up with something I did myself. Wether this is possible in this case I have no idea.
