Hi,
Whilst watching Top Gear on Sunday I had a thought how long does it take the 92 Panda Dance to go from 0-60?

Anyone ever tried it?

Happy new year

Never tried it in my 903cc Dance (I care for my clutch too much) but the brochure figures are around 16.5 seconds with a top speed of 84mph.

Y10 Stats
0-100KM/H

Y10 Fire 16.0 (999cc FIRE)
Y10 FIRE LX 15.2 (1108cc FIRE)
Y10 Touring 14.5 (1049cc 124 Engine)
Y10 Turbo 9.5 (1049cc 124 Engine w turbo)
Y10 4WD 17.5 (999cc FIRE)
Y10 4WD i.e. 17.0 (1108cc FIRE)
Y10 GTie 12.0 (1301cc 124 Engine)

The FIRE variants should compare with their Panda equivalents in terms of performance.

If you worry about how fast the Panda is you've missed the point. :)

Jim
(who's higher geared selecta would of left you for dust! HA!)

Last time i tested my 88 750cl (999 swap in) it did it in under 8sec but the tires will never forgive me for that stunt.

Do i really need to mention it had the turbo conversion already:chin:
i never mention it when racing those ricers:p Can't wait to finish the 1242(y)

Look at this old jem of a thread I've dug up! :D

I have just done a 0-60 run in the old 4x4 and got 21 seconds. How does this sound to you all? I am pretty sure thats good for mine, but wouldnt mind knowing what others 4x4 fires do!?

Cheers
Si

God, there's only me and Fuzzy still around from when this thread started Sam's only got a 2x4 and I'm Mr 1108cc so you can't really count me!

Juppy's gone to Stu now so I wonder if he's up for any time trials?:D

Jim

i got 15.5 secs in my 1987 4x4 when it was 999cc
never tested as a 1242cc 8v,
but it was alot quicker,

i remember me and huw having a 4x4 panda race his standard 999 and mine 1242, i really did shoot away.

i will test my current red panda sometime, should be interesting.

aran.
