Grande Punto About time

Introduction

Been a member of good old Fiat Forum for a few months now and its helped me out a lot and gave me a few ideas for my gp! So i thought it was about time I get a few pics up of my motor and some ideas I've got for him..

Only got the alloys the other week so I'm getting them lacquered before they're put on for good..

Already got:-
20% tint on rear 3 windows
17" fiat alloys on toyos
and thats it haha

Plans:-
Front licence plate vinyled anthracite
White light bulb headlights
Rear mudflaps and possibly front if I can be bothered cutting around the side skirts..
Possible red badge upgrade
HEKO wind deflectors
Front quarter windows blacked out
Lowered on Eibach Sportlines
and any other little ideas I get but thats all the main things for now until I get a permanent job anyway!

Well ive decided to splurge the cash and get my paint code matched in halfords, £15 for 300ml?! But oh well its a pretty much exact match (which I wasnt expecting!) so cant complain really...gonna touch up a few scratches first then get around to colour coding my door handles at some point :)

another quick photoshop, 10 imaginary points to anyone who can spot the changes (y)

wheels are photoshopped in, had to use an old pic of the car, so no i've not been hitting lots of potholes and am running round on wonky wheels haha

Mirrors , tints rear windows , plus little windows on front . rear lights de side striped and punto vinal + lows :p do i win

Already had rears and front quarters tinted but I got rid of the horrible dot matrix so close enough! You missed the smoked side repeater, shorter aerial and tinted front fogs, I'll give you 7 points haha! :yum:

Instagram is being a bitch, but in reply to your question, changing height you have to jack the car up and do each corner one by one but once it's all jacked up only takes like 20 mins to set the height! Don't be put off by speed bumps I'm surrounded by them but you soon learn how to approach all the bumps it's fineeee just slam itttttt!

Well I've not been up to much as not had the time/funds and the weather hasn't helped either but I've got around to trying different things on my wheel nuts, got them in a 'chrome' just now and I've tried using a primer grey as well, got a few pictures of them on just to see, I can't decide

as you can see they were rusted as buggery before:

I was told when putting the nuts on the paint would all scrape away and look horrible, but they were actually alright! A few scuffs but you can't see them when they're in (y)

So yeah, thoughts?

im now onto playing with ideas on the inside and i want to replace the horrible rain stained armrests in the doors in a cream/white leather to match the a/b pillars and roof lining colour...done a quick photoshop but it looks dodgy..hard to get it the right colour with it being grey/blue already..

..no surprises there..just a normal picture..? well it hasn't been washed in over a week
how did you get that shine I hear you ask, especially in this weather?

well i lied a little bit, yes its not been washed in a week but i did use a bit of speed detailer on it! easy spray on wipe off waterless wash/wax.

stuff is amazing and is part of the APE (Automotive Paint Enhancement) range from my mate in Glasgow (Johnstone actually but close enough). He does a full range of car cleaning and detailing products as well as liquid air fresheners with well known perfume and aftershave odours!

Check him out at http://www.facebook.com/RimRefurb, he delivers UK wide as well (y)

plug much? haha thanks for reading! :slayer:

That looks good. Everyone changes theres sooner or later, but you don't often see people going for neutral colours such as this, i think its worth going for! Love the dash especially!

Added them on FB. Certainly have a gander at his products. I'm after some new stuff to try, need a good easy not so time consuming way of waxing my car also!

I'm really tempted, might just get a leather vinyl so I can always take it off easy enough, i just wanted it to match the rest of the plastics haha!
Yeah man its good stuff, all smells amazing too (y) just got a new wax thats similar to a showcar wax but lasts much much longer, its amazing stuff! all goes on so easy as well
