hi I have a 500l dualogic lounge model. I had a problem whereby car wouldn't change up into 3rd gear so I bought a used acuator and had the solenoids swapped over like for like and then recoded to the car. at the time the gearbox fluid was low so topped up and found that a pipe into the acuator was not clipped in properly so just lost fluid from there. after sorting this and topping up fluid I now have a problem that when I turn the ignition on it displays 4th gear on dash. I can knock it to display N to start the car but goes straight back to 4. can anyone help? my thoughts are if I raise the front end so the wheels are off the ground and rolling could it be able to be changed down gears whilst wheels are rolling? the other point is that the car was in neutral as it has been rolled to a different position on the drive so am puzzled how its come to be in 4th gear? or could it be that its coded the wrong solenoids to the wrong gear numbers? thanks
