Hi there,
Hoping someone can help...
I have a 2018 1.2s 500, it's developed a strange clunk/ knocking noise when driving slowly in 2nd gear like when in crawling traffic, on acceleration it makes a clunk noise which can be felt through the pedals and then on over-run it clunks again, it sounds like there could be play in something. The car has only covered 17k miles.
I've had it up on ramps and can't find anything obvious amiss.
Has anyone else experienced something similar?
Kind regards
Tony.

Hi :)

My 2018 isnt the best..

Have you had any work done lately..?

Possibility something hasnt been torqued correctly..??

Convenion says its too new for failing engine mounts..
but a lost bolt isnt unheard of
( dog bone?)
Hi there,
No work done recently, only had it 2 months.
Eng mounts seem fine as does the dog bone.
Drive shaft bolts all look good too, hence why I'm stumped. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Hi.

I want to say lower arm rear bush may have de-laminated but seems too young and low miles for that.

They do clunk when they go but would have to be bad to cause your symptoms.

Just a thought anyway.

Cheers,

Andy
