Technical 2001 Ducato 2.0td wont rev no codes

hi there ive got a 2001 fiat ducato motor home with no engine management codes.the motor home is in limp home mode and wont rev past 2000rpm and there is thick black smoke.the delievered fuel pressure at 2000rpm is 405bar this seems far too long.some advice would be great.

Turbo? just of the top of my head, but could be damaged and causing a restriction in the exhaust.

What was used to read the codes, any pending codes.
Faulty rail sensor will put it at 400 bar but should throw a code.
Take a look at the pressure, desired pressure and regulator %.
