Technical Fiat ducato wont revving

Hello evry one. I have a 2006 fiat ducato. The engine was replaced and now it doesn't respond to the gas pedal, and the idle speed is also higher, about 1200-1300rpm. What could be the problem? ducato 244 2.0jtd

It sounds like you will need to read the error codes from the ECU with a suitable diagnostic tool.
Most on Fiat Forum use MES (multiecuscan) for Fiats, I had a Fiat Scudo with the 2.0 litre jtd Peugeot engine and on that model MES didn't work so I had to buy Maxiecu scan tool which runs on Windows platform.
