can I separate the blower motor from the fan as its stopped working or is it a sealed unit? Was hoping to check brushes as it seems that might be part of the problem
The motor is under glove box
Take glove box off
Big black plastic cylinder under there
3 Torx screws and out it drops
There is a metal bracket you neeed to loosen off also
If not working at all could be resistor pack..just replaced mine but mine was running full blast constantly...
If you have a multimeter check to see if you have power going to motor
Thanks for reply, have looked at the casing, all I can see are letters BEHR PPT 20. Have checked other blower motors online, but nothing seems to match this, and just can't see how to get to the brushes to check them out.
