does anyine know sumone hu is selling a decent turbo kit for a 2000 seicento sporting or can send me a link to a website that will sell them, can u use the same turbo for a 1.1 punto? many thanks dane

How do fellows!

Due to economic constraints I am afraid I haven't got any further with the cinq as I need to get it running with megasquirt for which it may have to go on an RR. I was meant to be sending my megasquirt to a fellow member to be looked at but have been completely flat out lately.

Anywho, I am seriously considering the prospect of getting hold of a wiring loom (as mine has been chopped for MS) and getting it running on a 1242 16v ECU, does anyone have any in depth information about doing this? I really need a 2nd car so have to get this running!

So any help that can be offered as far as running the 1368 16v on the 1242 16v ECU will be GREATLY appreciated.

Sorry for the lack of updates, but there haven't been any :-(

Thanks in advance to everyone.

Lenny

Am sure it will run the engine. As D4NS has ran his 1368 for a while. As for wiring info, is all in the guide D4n Posted up.

This is a turbo build, though, isn't it. Without serious mods, the 1.2 16v ECU will not run a turbo. At the very least, it can't understand anything over 1 bar. More seriously, I think that ECU would need reprogramming to deal with boost/load/spark advance. In places, the map is likely to be 2D when it'll need to be 3D.

Holy pistons, Batman!

He changed his plan from a 8v turbo to just a N/A 1.4 16v :).

Hi again fellas,

Hoping to have the car running soon! I am buying Dans MS2 that was running and RR'd in his car hopefully get me running!

The thing is, from what I can see reading through the thread, Dans car was running the standard Stilo 1.4 inlet manifold. I have the 1242 16v mk1 Punto inlet manifold fitted with the pink Stilo injectors. Is this gonna totally knacker me up for using his map? Or will it run well enough for autotune to smooth it out?

Many thanks in advance as always!

yea, would have bought the engine now if i had my way, it would be in my room right now, but my HG has gone on the 1242 :( compression testing it later on today to find out for sure, but if it has i'm gonna have to buy the bits for this at £35 , £25 for the head skimming then time to fit it lol

Cheers

Lenny

surely if the HG has gone get a completely new engine... from experience once a HG has gone it WILL go again at some point

As i replied. I was using the stilo inlet with stilo injectors. The stilo inlet has a larger diameter, but to be honest the ecu should self adjust to match air pressure anyway. The settings definitely wont be perfect, but should be enough for autotune to do its magic.

We'll help you get it going. (y) Its taken you too long now. haha.
