Hi guys

I need your help please. I tried to change my offside rear brake pads and discs today. The lower 8mm Allen key bolt was rounded off so I had to use an extractor to get it out... Unfortunately the carrier that holds the pads in place is buggered and the new bolts won't go in square to it.

Does anyone know the part number for the carrier please. This is a pandonium edition, so has the red painted set up.

Tia

M12 x 1.25 I believe

Don't have a 100HP to check though

95% sure it's fine and 80% it's M12

Start the tap from the reverse side good threads

A taper tap is all you need for this job

Should have thread lock

Sorry no that set does not contain any fine pitch taps

I'd just the buy what you need as and when

M12x1.25 HSS 1st cut (taper). I believe is the one you need. Count the number of threads in cm will give you the pitch, diameter of the bolt should be measurable

Use a quality tap such as Presto makes all the difference

I don't have a supplier I can recommend last one I bought was from class ohlson Manchester which has shut down, buy once, buy quality and look after them

Keep them in there own tubes so the don't bang together

Does anyone know what colour "Red" paint is used on the calipers for the Pandamium please. Mine has started to leak so im going to buy a silver one and paint it Red ti match

The "Already painted" ones are a silly price.

Cheers 🐼

I don't know for the 100HP

Doubt anyone can say 100% not even sure they were all the same

Tried some paint lookup sites, seem a lot of different colours have been used, none gave a red code for a fiat panda only silver

Fiat/Alfa used 9 Different reds n 2017 for their calipers, go figure, they all look the same to me except the very deep red one

If I was to guess it would be, RAL 3020 but the new caliper will not match anyhow as the old one will be faded

Maybe a motor factors will allow you to take the lid out and compare ?

Cheers mate for your help and info here. I'll take a look at RAL 3020 paint.

Well some good news... Panda had all new Bilstein B6 shocks all round with Voltgan springs. All new bolts and rear axel, drop links and Magneti Morrelli wish bones & gearbox oil changed with GL4+ lube- and many more parts to mention. 🐼

Passed the MOT a few days ago without any faults.
