Does anybody know what the factory optional extras were for the Panda 100HP and If you can buy them separately?

I'm looking to buy one but I'd like it with the 6 speakers and the Pandemonium Kit.

Also, was the Ipod cable an extra?

The factory options which I know about were:

Traction control (very rare, I've never seen a 100HP with it and I looked at loads)
Uprated stereo (6 speakers + subwoofer under the passenger seat)
Pandemonium pack
Skydome sunroof

That's about it, as far as I know. For a small car which was first available several years ago, it's very well equipped. I'm sure there's some stuff I've missed, but they're all I can think of off the top of my head.

Mine came with the 6 speakers/sub combo and iPod lead. Although I have changed my audio setup, the OE stereo is actually quite good and to have a half decent Bluetooth is an added bonus!

The pandamodium is ok but I didn't like the decal. You could do your brakes red or any other colour yourself.

I have to agree, the glorified sticker doesn't look that nice and painting your calipers isn't really a hard job, you could have it done before lunchtime on a weekend. Also, the 100HP is pretty rare, getting picky about whether potential cars have the Pandemonium pack or not probably isn't worth it, or that was my opinion when buying one anyway.

As for the stereo, I find the standard stereo to be a lot worse than the one in the 2010 Fiesta I used to drive. There's a lot less bass and it's can't handle nearly the same volume before distorting horribly. If I were to buy another 100HP, I'd make sure it had the uprated stereo.

The sunroof is a matter of personal opinion, but I think they're a waste of time (especially with climate control as standard on the 100HP). It seems that as cars get older, their sunroofs leak, irrespective of make or model; more effort than they're worth.

As for traction control, it's pretty much irrelevant whether you want it or not. I doubt you'll be able to find a 100HP in the UK with it specced.

Mine is a white Pandemonium with subwoofer and skydome.

1. I never use the stereo
2. The Pandemonium stripe is fragile and looks cheesy - it was removed
3. Mine's a 2011 car so no Bluetooth and no heated mirrors
4. The Skydome is great and we use it a lot. On hot days, this lets the hot air out much quicker, but it's just nice to have also - even with the Climate on

I had an October '08 100HP. No heated mirrors (are there any with them?) but quite reasonable Bluetooth. I'm a professional musical instrument maker; I hate music that's too swamped with bass; the inside of a small, relatively noisy car is not the environment for serious listening to music so I reckon the standard radio and CD player is adequate.

Ok thanks for the help.

Is it easy to get hold of the 6 speaker system or is it best to just upgrade the standard system with something else?

My 100HP has the uprated stereo, think it's pretty good. My car is also fitted with the ESP / traction control option. Traction control can be switched off. ESP doesn't seem to interfere (only has noticeably once, and that was on a track and I was about to spin on a greasey surface!).

Another option is side airbags.

For the price, trouble of finding one and the sound quality, I'd just get a decent set of components, sub, amp and a good headunit

Mine has the sunroof and it's open every time I use the car, it's never leaked or failed. Would always try and get a panoramic roof as it lightens up the inside of the car.

Side airbags were also an option. The 6 speaker system was standard on later 2010 models (big mirrors) although the multi CD option was left out. Bluetooth was also left out on later models as well. I just went with the pandemonium kit and metallic paint. I think the side stripe looks fine and not cheesy at all. It was put on by a blind man when I got the car so Fiat refitted a new one. It has chipped slightly at the rear and theres a tiny bit of discoloration but its fine. The red calipers still look great and havent chipped at all. You also get silver wing mirrors (on a grey car) which also look good. Personally I think its a kit worth having but consider it a bonus not essential. The OE stero sounds amazing once set up properly.

Don't forget the pandamonium pack also included darker wheels on the earlier cars

I'm not sure it's that straightforward. I have a 2011 100HP with the pandamonium pack and it has the darker wheels. It's a (southern) Irish car though, in case that makes a difference.

Another 2011 owner!

Mine's UK and yes, as with all Pandamonium, has the dark wheels (but no longer the cheesy stripe - haha). That said the, wheels are off now as winter gave 3 of them flatspots. It now has 6x15 Punto Sporting wheels with the slightly chubbier 195/50-15 tyres. These wheels have great cleavage for those red calipers.

Mines a 2010 and the wheels are the standard colour. In fact I've never seen the darker wheels. I know that in 2010 the pandemonium kit was never advertised having darker wheels. It just said side stripe.red calipers and silver wing mirrors. I have all the brochures and price lists from that time.

I'm with FMP on this. I've got the Pandemonium kit and I don't have the darker alloys. I've got the original invoice with it specced too. You're right Rawb, metal pedals weren't, only an official Fiat accessory.

EVO said it was best to go without TC as although you could switch it off, it was never totally off. Mine's an 07, doesn't have TC (button is blanked out). Has red calipers but don't think it has the Pandamonium Pack as far as I know, definitely no sunroof. Might as well ask here - does anyone else find the climate control a bit underwhelming? Or could it be I need a re-gas of the AC?
