Hello,

I'm new to the Panda world and currently facing quite a few challenges sourcing some specific parts. I’ve had a small victory recently by installing a 1.2i coolant radiator along with the matching 1.2i hose from the thermostat to the radiator – so no hose modifications were needed. I’ve also re-pinned many connectors around the engine and replaced some exterior trim clips that aren’t clearly listed in ePER.

However, I’ve hit a dead end with the front shock bump stops. The OEM part number is 51856853, but I can’t find it anywhere for a reasonable price. If it’s in stock, it’s usually around €60 per piece, which is just not acceptable.

Do you have any tips for aftermarket alternatives? Maybe something similar to the rear bump stops from the Fiat Coupé?

Thanks in advance!

Yes, I’ve checked eBay as well, but still around €90 for the set including shipping. That feels unreasonable to me.

100hp bump stops are completely different

Standard

Original birth sell an aftermarket one for the 100hp

No idea how much

Their quality is normal good

Let me see if I can find the part number

Hi Koalar.
Thank you, and yes, I’m aware that the 100HP has different bump stops. I also know about the replacements from Birth, but they’re unavailable in the EU. Overall, I haven’t been able to find any replacement available in the EU for a reasonable price. That’s why I asked if anyone has experience with other bump stops, e.g., from different models that have similar dimensions.

I did look round for alternatives a few years ago when rebuilding a 100hp back to factory spec, and found that nothing else was even close in dimensions and functionality. Original Birth or Fiat Genuine parts were the only options I could find, and Fiat's were on back order.
I think I got a pair from Augustin in the Netherlands at the time but I'm nowhere near my notes so I can't check at the moment.
I do remember them costing way more than the standard Panda ones though, and having to wait a couple of weeks for them to be sent out.

Thank you, guys. I managed to find and order the bump stops. Unfortunately, only without the dust covers. I hope it will be possible to use the old dust covers.

I’m also attaching a link:
