Technical 1.2 Timing belt

Hey

My Panda has 55,000 and it is about time to get the timing belt done due to being almost 6 years old.

It has full service history at a fiat dealer. Would they be able to tell me if it has already been changed? The is a blue T Mark made with some sort of marker on the timing belt cover. Would that indicate it has been done before?

If not how can I check to see if it has been replaced in the past?

Call them up and ask.. or look in the service-papers.. if they dont know, then its not too difficult to do, takes a few hours if you havent tried it before but know how to use a wrench..

they SHOULD be able to access it's service history..

TBH - the job isn't too complicated, and should be @£80 in parts,
belt, water pump and pulleys
the labour will depend on who does the work,
