1.2 breather pipe fixes

Hi,
A previous poster has advertised a fix for split breather pipe to the airbox. How to remove the airbox does'nt describe how to release what appears to be a 'cone-shaped' support with grommets top and bottom at the back of the airbox?
How do you release this without breaking the plastic component attached to the back of the airbox pse?

It just required a sharp tug when I did it on my 1.4 GP.
