Hi everyone, ever since I bought my car the central locking has never worked, I’ve always had to put the key in the door to unlock it which was a pain sometimes!
The previous owner also never got it to work either.
I tried changing batteries and nothing worked. So I just got used to it and gave up. Didn’t wanna spend hundreds on getting it fixed.
I was walking out of the house with my key in my hand yesterday and accidentally pressed the unlock button on the key, and the car just unlocked
Then I pressed lock and it locked… lights flashed and everything works. Boot now opens when I press the button.
I am so confused!! Anyone have any idea as to why it’s randomly started working?!
