Technical '06 Panda crank sensor issue.....

Ok so disconnected the battery touching the positive and negative battery terminals to each other and worked for a few on using the prob to touch the outer 2 wires of the camshaft position sensor and i still get an immediate jump to 4.90v

So jump the 2 wires on both sides of the plug after disconnecting the battery then connect the battery and check?
No

Disconnect the battery first

Then touch the battery positive lead to negative lead

Reconnect

Retest the voltage on the camshaft sensor

Did this at first and still getting the same result (forgot to jump the plug leads first time😅)

Got it wrong

turn the ignition key to MAR;

Then press and hold down the accelerator pedal: the warning light turns on for about 8 seconds, and then goes off;

release the accelerator pedal engine light should flash

It's not doing it, it keeps beeping for as long as i hold the march position even after releasing the gas pedal

Both yes because we checked them on the scan tool and they are both being read correctly

If you want to be sure about the CPS check back when we were talking there is a graph about it

Are we sure the Duologic/MTA/selespeed gives the signal transmission neutral?

Are we absolutely sure the signal from the cranksensor is there constant during cranking?

I was wondering about the brake switch it did a few errors early on, intermittent, but nothing on the scan tool lately

Registered fine in on the original scan tool, but it's not been checked since the car last run

There were a few gearbox glitches early on also

Which gearbox errors are you referring to? Because there was alternator that was gone after the electrical cleanup but the brake switch still appears every now and then no idea why but it's so not frequent

Did remove it and fitted it back in its place but it still appears every once in a long while
