Because the gear is engaged so the car won't beep whenever i close the ignition because it is so damn annoying

Don't tell me i need to do it in neutral
Got it wrong

turn the ignition key to MAR;

Then press and hold down the accelerator pedal: the warning light turns on for about 8 seconds, and then goes off;

release the accelerator pedal engine light should flash

Cranking? I thought you said on the march position only aka opening the ignition

Tried it again while ignition on and cranking and they both didn't give what you said

The only beeping warning triangle was on gear 1 while cranking the car (without the engine turning over)

To get to flashing engine light
Gear in neutral
Foot on brake
Ignition on
Then other foot on accelerator pedal untill the engine light goes out
Release pedal

This is a bit of a guess as the only instruction I have aren't for the dualogic

Going to do this one now but what kind of test is this? Because if it's for the coils/spark plugs, all spark plugs are disconnected but both coil packs are connected

It to start it ECU in to manually excepting the code instead of using the key

I have never tried it on a dualogic the ECU program will be different

Instead of relying on the scan tool, let's double check the brake lights are all fully functional, then it's back to chasing the injector and spark

Do you have an old fashioned bulb test lights

Yep i have a 12v tester and even when i step on the brakes all the lights are lighting trunk and both right and left ones

This one

Now my theory as to why the brake light switch came on the scan tool is because i used to press the brakes but without servo to assist it was very which probably caused the ECU to get confused and read it as malfunctioning

Because this thing happened with me a couple times I don't know if it happened with my father or sister when they drove it
