Technical '06 Panda crank sensor issue.....

These are the 2 drop tests you asked for while gripping on the terminals, the upper one is for the loom and the other is for the chassis ground

Put it back as it was

I am fairly sure the one to the chassis has been added to fix a problem but will check the diagrams later

We had 0.8V between the ECU and the block, and 0.2V between the block and the battery

0.2V is good carrying 100 amps
1V is bad carrying less than 5 amps

Either the test was wrong or we have to investigate further
The chassis is a factory one unless it was added from another car because it has an italian fiat label on it so it's definitely not an aftermarket one or hand made

Put them back and measure from the ECU aluminium heatshield if it around 0.2V we can move on

If it around 1V as we originally measured it will need investigating why

Forgot to mention that i was the one assembling the back cover of the ECU and i noticed that when i tightened the bolts the thin back heat shield was pushed tightly to the ECU body and the metal of the ECU seat so you can say that there is metal contact between ECU body/heat shield/ECU seat

Returned both ground wires where they were initially and this is the voltage drop test on the back heat shield of the ECU

Yeah it does have A/C
Great.

I beleive the wire from the bulkhead was originaly connected to the AC somewhere

No matter as its been running like this for awhile

I lost some fiat information in a service bulliton on the P0335 code, there something else you gave to do after you clear the code leave the ignion off or disconect the battery

Leave it with me I will find it again

Alright gonna do that but keep in mind that the A/C is on the other side of the engine there's no way it's gonna reach there not even midway.
And do you want me to remove the battery or keep ignition off?

Tried as you said cleared everything and left p0335 at the end then i cleared the fault and removed the key from the ignition waited for about a minute but the car still refuse to start

Didn't check the code but it doesn't come back immediately gonna check it again and i did give you the gap I think it was 1.25mm

It's about the only bit from the builtin we haven't already done

"
Also measure the gap at the four points on the wheel 90° from one another:

- The gap should be between 0.5 mm and 1.5 mm;

- The difference between the measurements taken at the 4 points should not exceed 0.2 mm;

- Check that the sensor is correctly fastened."

How does that look?

I don't have a way to measure it that accurately but i checked the pulley while turning it's perfectly calibrated not to mention it doesn't seem to have any dents or whatsoever not to mention the car was running fine but started having the issue progressively turning off more and more overtime until it completely stopped now
