I am trying to remove the door plastic. undone the bolts but i cant get it to "pop" off like how on other cars the trim pops off. seams its a different mounting design. looking though a edge i kinda pulled off a bit.

I want to check out the speaker size so i can see about upgrading it.

Also to put the metal clip for the electric window switch back which fell off, inside the door.

Help please, suggestions, service manual link???

Thank you

Hi

Thanks muchly. hmm so maybe i just need more force with a bigger leaver? i have been trying to use my nice but small plastic bicycle tire levers... but it looks like i should be pushing up to un-slot the clips? hmm

yea i should get some of those. I’ll search aliexpress in a bit.

Well i used more force on the bottom edge of door trim and it popped off. then lifted it off the 3 top hooks. Did half break one of the top circular hooks.

Annoyingly the speakers are riveted in place. :(

Seam to have lost that little metal clip for electric window too.

Hi
Those plastic trim clips can be got hold of easy
My metal switch clip also has ended up at the bottom of the door as well, small amount of super glue sorted mine [enough to be removable again!]
Replaced my speakers and head unit which has everything sat nav, dvd, phone, you name it from bose, the standard speakers seem to handle quite a lot of watts,,,,But the tweeters are to say a bit harsh.
I have no passenger air bag so that's where the amplifier is sitting, there is loads of room in that space.

Here are the photos! Cropped them and then Recompressed down to 45Quality.
I have higher quality, less compressed versions if preferred or if people want. Just say so/ask. I compressed them a lot to reduce the amount of my photo space used.
