Technical 6 speed gearbox ???

which puntos has 6 speed gearboxes, which would fit my punto mk1 ? do i have to do some modifications on gear shift mechanism?
Just out of curiosity. In case ill spot one.

I think the 1.2 16v ones. Pretty sure these will lower the gearing, so it's not necessarily the "go faster" tweak you may assume. Of Punto linkeages, I know nothing.

i think a 6 speed box on such a little engine is a waste of time and hand movements and a fashion statement now passed
keep to a good 5 box

If you find a good six speed box get the lever and linkage to go with it. But as said its pretty pointless - unless the engine is souped up with fast cams and a narrow power band.

ok lads, not going get one, even if il have a chance get one .anyway i mostly driving in traffic, and not going over 4 th gear.
