Got it wrong...

The green block is for the interface (eg elm327) (not the green adapter). The red box with A3 denotes which colour adapter A3 (yellow adapter).

Will try again tomorrow lol.

That's better than thinking simulation was read only non licenced version + looking to fix non real codes p068a-86 and b0110-15

Nope the mes free version will not connect to any module on my Punto twin air. It tells me which colour adapter I need but every function ends like this

:)

have to stand on my own two feet :)

Just noticed that the single licence can be transfered to other PCs up to 10 times. "The License Transfer function has a limitation of 1 transfer per month and a total of 10 transfers."

maybe have a go at registering tonight when the kids have settled.

Hi,
Don't panic or jump to conclusions Check for loose connectors on the ECU and body computer first. At least unplug and re-plug them. Then clear the codes and see if they come back. If they come back you need to look at the engine parameters like mass air flow and boost pressure. MES will record parameters while you go for a test drive.

Thanks - yes the methodical approach will be best. Emma has taken the car to work so I won't be doing much tonight. Maybe Saturday I'll get a chance to tinker.

Edit I don't know which ECU is which Hmmm.

Will try and get some pictures as I go as the TA stuff is a bit thin on the ground.

I'll have to get the laptop sorted before I can record stuff on MES - all new to me and have a few codes on the Panda and Punto to see if they re-occur.

Oddley the Panda has never had codes read over the last 104K I've owned it yet the Punto has more codes

Our panda has nothing of note.. just airbag..where I broke the isolator switch (changing heater Matrix)

I will have to check TA again.

Old FIAT place that did early servicing told me of 1300 logged occurances of:

Starting with seatbelt unclipped!!

Examiner does MORE than MES... ;)
