Hi everyone,

Recently purchased a 2016 Punto Easy+ in Red at the beginning of August. I've noticed recently that my door's sill plates are scratched and I don't really know why, I take care when entering and exiting the car and so do any passenger.

Is there anything I could do to stop it scratching or remove the scratches? They're the black plastic ones, not the chrome ones :)

Cheers,
Chris

I bought a new punto 1.2 easy in January 2015 and had same problem and it is where you catch it with your shoes when getting in and out, I just try and avoid catching it now but the width of the sill doesn't help.

You can apply a coating something like autoglym vinyl and rubber care.:)
It does'nt prevent scratching nor does it repair them , but it disguisses and masks the scratches and makes them less prominent its makes the black/dark grey plastics a touch slippery but makes everything look new and anti-static
