Is this why PSC had to ban you, because they were so jealous of your superior knowledge....move over Mr.Hans :worship:

I requested to be banned it was a kids site ty..

I think UL find they are loose :)

The only fixtures on the lights are at the top there is nothing to stop the light from being moved it is unsecured.. See my old post on that site

FFS, THE CAR WOULD NOT PASS IT'S MOT IF THE LIGHTS WERE NOT CORRECTLY FITTED!!!

How would you know anyway??? How long have you been fixing Fiats???

The car has passed it's MOT end of!

Iv been modding my car 5 years to a high standard

I know my stuff through 5 years of thinking problem solving and experimentation. Most gt/punto related products and problems people will have I have had them before most and sorted them (y)

What did surprise me these lights are supposed to be E approved but they are loose in fitment, because not many know you have to drill a hole in the bumper and through the bumper bar. So a screw can be screwed into place on the bumper so the head of which mates to the plastic lug on the bottom of the light, and stops forward movement of the lights. With this in place the lights are secure.. With out it they are not..

Although It can depend on the way the bumper sits on the car.. Mine were loose as until I secured them. Its not for definite they are all loose. It is dependant, I am sure lots will be..

5 years is f*ck all compared to how long some people on here have been modding thier cars. Quite a few on here are mechanics and know more about cars than I do about myself.

Just because YOU had that problem doesn't mean everyone else has the same problem.

To quote your edit...again.

Being a top-notch-best-GTbloke in the world (and on the moon apparently)

Firstly, they have the same fixings as the standards.

But the thing that is a bit shocking...you missed using the black fixing brackets

And as for your following post..
NO NEED FEEL FREE TO CHECK UR OWN !!

Do what I say n ull see

Firstly, no need to shout...:p

Secondly, do you really think that I didn't do that

And guess what?!?!?

So did the MOT bloke pmsl

And guess what else....

So did the bodyshop that fitted them

OK saying they are wrong is a bit strong.. They are wrong if they are loose. I have had my bumper of the car before I bought these lights. Although It is sat correctly and in alignement. I had to secure them I have seen a friend of mine have to do the same. I never make a **** out of anything on my project:) I will try and find a post with other people saying they had loose lights also and show you what I found when I tried to fit mine there was many on other site that were loose. Although you never know also if the body shop have made a modification when fitting also I am sure they may have.. Personally I try and do things myself :p

Right I think a few things should be set straight here.

Firstly, you did say that my lights would wobble...read back on your posts.
You also said that I should check them when I said they wouldn't.

So, you have since backed down, as you were wrong. But now you are trying to justify your comments by the fact that I didn't carry out the work myself.
If I had time when I bought the lights, I would've fitted them...it happened I did not at that time in my life.

I hope that this argument has not come about because you believed that I fitted them myself and being a girl...would have deffo done them wrong

Tomorrow I will be changing all 3 cars gearbox oil. And I carry out quite a lot of my own work on my cars...and I never bodge it. Even though I am a girl

You've just been TOLD!!!!!!!!.,.,PMSL.,.:D

And just to add, i work in a bodyshop and punto lights are some of the most simple lights to install/remove compared to a lot of cars so dont make it sound like rebuilding an engine, blindfolded with only your toe's.,.,:D

I think it was a girly thing too!.,
