I have a problem with my power steering. every now and again the power steering seems to go really light and i can feel the steering wheel fight back, it goes from bieng too light to too heavy. is it a problem with the electrics or something else. other problems i have had is the speedo (just the speedo) cutting out and now and then the brake light symbol comes on when i touch the brake pedal, i've checked the brake lights when it comes on but they're fine.

sounds like an electrical fault, and with electronic faults its usual the dealer thats the only option, good luck

Problem Sorted It's amazing what a can of WD-40 Can do!

I noticed the problem i was having only happened when it was raining so i figured that moisture was getting in around the electrics through the water that was picked up from the road so i sprayed WD-40 around the engine to draw the moisture out and my punto has been perfect!
