You're right about expensive! But they do look great! Did they fit them on HGT's as standard? Don't know if I've ever seen them.Although I seem to remember you've already sorted the gear lever, as part of the dash revamp: I thought you might still be interested in this. Not cheap: but very new...!

Its not on my HGT, with it being an Abarth aswell. Just a standard black leather one

A massive thanks to oldhammer for sending me the parts I needed for my centre console!
Now I have a sorted ashtray and no more holes in my console! My car now looks like its got electric mirrors (I wish) and traction control!

Does anyone know where I can pick up one of these? I've been looking around for one for ages now, but still can't seem to lay my hands on one..
I really want one for my car, would definitely add to my Abarth/HGT look!

Another change I really want to do...
One of my heater blower vents is broken and it just wobbles around in the aperture..
So I've been thinking.. Maybe changing it for a HGT vent insert in there instead. I've seen loads of cheap ones on eBay.
Does anyone know whether this will just be a straight swap? Also will I have to take my radio out to do this?

You will have to take your radio out because the radio cage is fitted through this vent, well mine is anyway
Also have you sticker bombed your silver centre console you fitted?

Very true, didn't think of that.. my radio was a pig to get in, so I don't know whether to do this or not.. I need new vents, and hopefully I can fit my cage back in without damaging it anymore!

No I haven't, I've decided to keep the top bit of the console stickerbombed, but because the HGT's are getting sparse I think I'm gunna keep it standard..

I've had an idea for what I want to do.. However... I don't know how its gunna look. I've been thinking of changing my rear bumper to the old Mk2a Abarth/HGT.
I have to admit, that I do really like my current rear bumper (the Active Sport/HGT Mk2b one), but I still have a love for the Mk2a ones. Im just wondering whether it would look good, and also whether it would be a straight swap.
Any ideas and opinions welcomed

I've taken off the crusty vinyl off my side pilars and have some nice new stuff to replace like you have, not sure I like them red!
I've got all the kit to paint my wheels gloss black, just wondered if you had done yours yet?

Nah I've got my Mk2 as my daily, but brought a Mk1 as a project car.. the Mk1 has kind of taken over ?
