Apologies if this comes across as a little simple. I have a Mk2b Sporting and have no idea where the spark plugs or air filter is? I just want to replace both over the weekend, any help guys?

Currently reading:

The air filter is in that big oval shaped box on top of the engine. There's about 8 screws that have to be removed to get to the filter.
The spark plugs are below the air filter housing, towards the top/back of the engine (4 plugs in total)

Sporting = 16v?
If so I believe the spark plugs are direct above up cylinders ontop in the cam cover
The air filter is just to the right iirc
But not having a 16v I cant think of it

you will need new 16valve leads too,trust me here they will break on removal

mine broke when ichanged plugs, 40 squid for new ones :bang:
if its 16v don't get cheap plugs
(iridium) is the ones you want. they eats cheap ones
