Hi hope someone can help or suggest what the problem might be. The fuse for my dash lights, indicators and hazards keeps blowing, its now gone 8 times in the last week or so. There's no set pattern to it, took to the garage that replaced my head gasket the other week just in case they trapped a wire or something, they couldn't see anything obvious and of course it wouldn't do it while there. So they've left it and said if it goes again, they wil strip back the wiring and check it. That sounds expensive, so any ideas on how to rectify the problem would be great,

something will be shorting so either you or a garage will have to check the wiring. if it only started since the garage worked on the car, they should be the ones to sort it and shouldnt charge you for it if it was something they had caused. check all the earth points as a starting point though. they may have reconnected something wrong or missed an earth connection.

Start with the headlights and look for chafing on the wiring loom where it has rubbed on bodywork. Take all affected bulbs out and look for anything abnormal.
