The section that the seat belt clicks into doesn't lock into position.
Is it possible to repair or buy this part of the belt on it's own rather than a complete new seat belt, i.e the buckle and belt than is bolted to the floor?

Just go scrap yard and get the buckle (the piece that bolts to the floor) Thats all you need! Mechanism inside it will have broke. May be able to pull it apart and fix but that would be a pain and may need new springs etc

Don't bother - too much risk the repair will fail. Just get a new stalk (same side) from a good breakers and replace the whole thing.
