hi lads,
my right dipped and full beam lights are pointing towards the ground so i get very little usable light on the right. how much is it roughly to get your headlights corrected at a garage? thanks

You should be able to do it yourself. Park the car up on a level surface facing a wall or garage door etc (about ten feet away). Lift the bonnett and look at the rear of the light and you should be able to find the adjusters (one will do L/R the other up/down). Switch the lights on and use the height of the good beam as a guide for the other.
You may find that the adjusters have seized though in which case youll need another headlight unit.
A garage shouldnt charge that much for headlight adjustment, but i would try it myself first.

From memory, i think they're two allen key head embedded into the top of the light cluster. Have a snoop around, they're not TOTALLY obvious if its covered in dirt...

If you look at that picture, they're the two black dots at the back of the unit.

Good luck.

my punto is a mark 2
hes on about a mk1 :)

i looked at my mark 2 headlight there and theres 2 white(ish) alan key slots on each headlight and they have white plastic wheel things connected to them. waiting for it to get dark to see if mine actualy still work!

i managed to raise the light a small bit with the alan key yoke but not enough. so undid the bolts of the headlight and pushed it up and den tightened them in that position. dey look better but i think the garage will have to do it with their special equipment cos using our eyes at ten feet aint working for me!
