I have two wires hangin down that need to go behind the glovebox.

Ive managed to get the glovebox off but not the plastic behind it any1 got any ideas on how to take it off?

Btw its a mk2 punto elx 2000

Think it's part of the dash so it will all have to be removed.

what wires are they? can't you just reach up and grab them? As that would be a hell of a lot easier than taking the dash off

No i cant.
i thought dash may have to cum off.
How u get it off? ne ideas?

It's quite a big job, never done it before so can't write out a guide.

Might be worthwhile getting a Haynes manual as it's all detailed in there

Dash out is easy enough just a bit time consuming.

Column needs to come out.
Easier if you remove from seats.
Centre console, instrument cluster etc. need to come out.
Then it's just a case of undoing the visible bolts (2 are hidden deep either side).
Unclipping all the wiring.
Then removing it.

You can easily feed wires behind the glovebox without taking the dash out.

That's what I was trying to (admittedly not very well) say, it's fiddly and can take a while but it's far easier than taking the dash out

Much easier. You'll spend as long re-aligning the steering column on the splines alone.
