My fan has been making weird noises lately, it sounded like it was struggling to turn, as if it was rubbing on something. So, I drenched it in WD40, and that cured it for now.

Thing is, as the fan was spinning, it didn't seem to be spinning "square" if anyone understands? As it spins, it seems to be 'wobbling' a little. Never really sat and watched my fan before so no idea if this is normal.

Done about 93k, never had a new rad fan as far as i know, is it due one? Or am I making a big thing about nothing?

Obviously my concern is the rad fan packing up, and the car over heating, turning my head gasket into gelato.

Anyone out there had a new rad fan for any reason? Mileage?

Had to replace mine at 112000, mine had a broken support. It had been this way the hole time i owned the car though, it began to stick and resisted. This then caused the fuse to blow and the car to over heat.

I would just keep an eye on it for the moment, there not expensive or difficult to replace.
