I wanted to change polen filter or whatever it is that filters air that goes into cabin, but was unplesantly suprised that there is no filter if you dont have air con?
I saw some posts here sayin its in a footwell or how do you call it, in the holes where your feet are....so I took of the lid and theres a hole from the floor, but no obvious filter that could fit there. Parts shops tell me theres no such thing, only the one under glove compartment and if you have air con.

So i was just wondering, what are your ideas abbout keeping the dust outside? :bang: So much is commin in....
I've put a piece of filter for home air cons in the footwell, it's not blocking too much air, was thinking of finding where exactly air comes in and filter it there.....if only those were firewall filters (very few people will get this)...

Anyone? Where to place home made filter?

Strange, my mums Fiesta has a pollen filter an it dose'nt have air con, I thought it was standard fit on all cars?

Is there not a space between the fan motor and the centre consol? (where the pollen filter would go if you had aircon). If so that would be an ideal place to stick it!

Well I didn'e expect a car that costs 25 average sallaries in my country to fill my nostrels and lungs and sores my eyes with dust from a truck in front of me...

how would you go on with an old car? i did a search before and they sell pollen filters for mk 2 puntos without aircon so it must have one mate.

There is no place to put one, not even uder glove compartment where it ussually is...I went to few stores, they only sell one that goes under glove compartment...
So pretty sure there isn't one, does anyone have idea where air comes in from?
There are no ventilation holes under the bonet, behind the engine, only one in the centre console commin' from the flor, but this can't be the one providing air all the way up, and on the sides, cause that would mean my dashboard is dustfull And dust can kill electric circuits.

Behind your gearbox, theres a black plastic elbow with a bit of rubber on the end pointing downwards.

OK, that must be the one entering the boot in the centre console, but is that the only intake? I was thinking of putin peace of filter for home air cons and check if it doesnt block air flow too much...

my no aircon mk1 punto has a pollen filter.

further evidense that if you want a proper car you should have bought the older and nicer looking mk1 :worship: lolZORD
