I have problem with shifting in Punto 2001. When the car (engine) is cold the shifting is going smooth but I have to use some force to shift after around 15 miles. The oil in geerbox is OK. I yust bought it so I do not know history of this car. Do you have any idea what is wrong? Thank you for any reply.

i have a punto 2001 also and when cold it can be stiff to get into 1st gear and 2nd. especially if you are slowing at lights and changing down to 1st. when its warmed up its fine. mine has been like this since for as long as i can remeber i had it 4 years
Fishdude there saying when engine is cold it changes gears fine, but once up to temp it becomes stiff ect..

I know It is weird but it is true. When it is cold everything is good but when it warmed up there is necessary to use some power to shift (does not matter whitch one 1st 2nd 3th 4th 5th). I have no idea what to do with it:worship:
