Would anyone happen to know if the abarth 595 engine fits a standard punto evo?

it's in essence the same engine they fitted to the Punto Evo abarth, but to swap one from a 500 would be extremely costly as you would have the engine but you would need to buy in from fiat all the things not found in the 500 like the evo abarth engine mounts, exhaust, gear selector cables, brakes, drive shafts etc etc. Then you'd need to code everything together to work. It would actually be easier (and I have seen it done on at least one car) to fit everything from the 595 to a panda. The evo is a totally different kettle of fish as it was a joint venture with vauxhall..... what you could find more interesting is the engine from a VXR corsa.

Or just buy a EVO abarth or buy the 595 and drive that.
