Sorry guys this is my first post, daughter bought a evo and someone’s been messing with the wires, anyone know what these wires do etc so I can link up?

Does the boot open when you press the Fiat badge? It may be that you can use the boot open button on the key but not by the badge or visa versa.

Yeh it’s fine the boot button works etc, just the annoying boot open sign in the dashboard and the boot light out, so wondering if connected to these two wire that ain’t doing anything at present

Yup, sounds like it’s the wiring to let the system know if the boot is open or not. And if it’s open the light is on, when is closed the light isn’t on. Wonder why it’s been cut in the first place.

I would think it will be a quick easy fix if you can find the other wires they connect to, but I’m not sure.

Possibly faulty switch in the lock mechanism so it thinks it open when it's closed?
But without connecting it back up and testing who knows
