Hi folks, my new to me Evo has a little plastic facia to the left of the drivers left leg, just about shin level. It has a pointed end on it and this sticks out - keeps sticking out.

Damn thing keeps catching my trouser leg as I go to push the clutch down- so before I have to resort to a bicycle clip can anyone suggest how this should be affixed back into position to stay?

There does not look to be any particular fixing method on it. I'd stick a black self tap screw through it but I do not know what's behind and do not want to drill into something I'm unsure of.

Has anyone else had and resolved this problem?

OR do I just have the wrong trousers... :)

I used to do this quite a bit, I don't any more. Maybe I've subconsciously adapted my left foot movement to it!

I guess I need to pull my left trouser leg up then lol.

Will see what I can do this weekend, just got the car and hardly had time to even look at it :(

I had a good look today, there is a clip behind it that does get pushed in but at the pointy end there is nothing to clip it in.

I guess that I will have to find a bit of plastic I can add behind it and the adjoining bit so I can use a screw in each. IMO bad design as it can cause the driver to be unable to press the clutch in - thats when crashes can happen.

Methinks I'm gonna find a local dealer.

Went into the Blackburn motorpark today, they are going to replace the plastic fascia under warranty as it has warped. Result.
