Are the Fiat OE roof rails still available new from Fiat. And if so do folk have a rough idea of cost ?
The only way to know for sure is to ask a Fiat dealer. But looking at some of the OEM prices for common parts, you'll be lucky to find them at a cost you'll want to pay.
Part numbers are on ePER.

Be careful screwing into the roof mounting holes. Fiat use a lot of self-cleaning bolts. When they go cross-thread, you won't feel the bite until it's too late and your threads are wrecked. Personally I would try a normal bolt, if it's tight, run a taper tap down then try the normal bolt again. Use a good anti seize paste on the threads from top to bottom.

I did exactly that on my roof when I fitted the bars, mainly because 2 of the plastic blanking plug sheared off so I had to drill and tap the holes before fitting them.Granny and eggs mode ON

Ok so three came out fine but one broke. Panic set in so I used an undersized drill and drilled out as much plastic as I could. Then I tried an M6x1 tap in one of the other holes which seemed to be fine. So took the big step of trying to retap the hole. The tap eventually bit and I hopefully have rethreaded. I tried an M6 bolt I had lying about and it screwed in although went tight after a few turns. So then I ran a bottoming tap down the hole and the bolt seems to screw in easier. Not sure what will happen when I put the rail bolts in or what I will do after that [/Q]
Well done on sorting it.
should be fine.
