Hello all, am hoping someone on the this forum can help me out. My car is a 2011 Fiat Panda, and i have just replaced the stereo that was in it ( a JVC KD - X230 ) with my ( Sony CDX - GT33U ) as i find the Sony much easier to operate. But since i have done this i cant seem to set the clock and mileage on the dashboard, it just continually flashes all the time. I have checked every fuse in the car, including the one on the rear of the Sony and was wondering if it needed reset possibly, and if this is the case, how would i go about doing this. I have changed a lot of stereos on various vehicles and don't ever remember coming across this problem before.So, any help or information on how to solve this issue would be most appreciated. Look forward to hearing any input.

Sounds like the body computer lost comms to the dashboard comp during the switch and now needs a "proxy alignment" in order to restore comms. This can be done using MultiECUScan, which I'd recommend investing in if you plan to do your own maintenance.

Otherwise, if you let us know whereabouts you are, someone local may be able to do it for you.

hi, jinxter. did you get you dash sorted m8 i had a similar problem ( flashing clock) fitted new battery. no more issues on my 2005 multijet regards, steve
