the rumor has it that by the end of the year it will be replaced by the 100 hp 3T Firefly

I have heard lots or rumours in my time and seen quite a few on here. VERY very few have had any basis in truth. I think it would be more accurate to say that some peoples wishful thinking extends to the hope....

Panda 4x4 is a very low volume seller and its more likely that it will be 2-3 years before another 4x4 comes along, if at all under PSA management, its more likely that the current one will be the last. Small jeeps might survive.
You will be more likely to see Panda on a PSA floorplan and with a PSA engine too. The return of a trekking style arrangement - already available in the PSA stable might happen as the PSA parts are already there. Fiat as a separate entity is in reality dead in the water.

I agree regarding the 1.0 FireFly Turbo engine replacing the TwinAir in the Panda 4x4 models - while the 1.0 FireFly Turbo engine is available in 100bhp form in the Tipo, I can't see Fiat adding it to the Panda this late in the models lifecycle.

I am less certain about a new Panda based on Fiat tech, though. The 500 Electric platform is all new and I believe capable of taking a combustion engine too, so they could use that platform for an all-new Panda, certainly in electric form, possibly ICE too. A 4x4 is a big question mark, but its not like anything like it exists at that size within the wider Stellantis group and it is a popular Fiat model, so hopefully they can make it work. I don't know if PSAs eCMP platform is capable of being used for a model as small as Panda, but if the 500 Electric platform is 4x4 capable then it seems daft not to make use of it.
