I have now had my 2015 4x4 TA for 2 months.
When I bought it the brakes were squealing and when I pressed the brake the squealing stopped. Gently applying the handbrake had no effect on the squeal so I suspected the front brakes. The pads were thin and the discs looked horrible so I had both front discs and pads replaced.
However, the squealing still returns occasionally. Touching the brakes and gently moving the steering temporarily stop the squeal.
Before I go looking under the car I wondered if there was a known problem to look for?
Thanks
Chris

Yes. My 2015 TA Cross did this last winter. It drove me mad! In mine, the squealing stopped when I applied the handbrake, so the problem was clearly with the rears. The pads are fitted with a wear indicator that rubs on the disks when they are worn, causing a squeal. That may be the cause of the squealing in yours. (Ask a passenger to listen carefully whether the noise is coming from the front or the rear.)

But worn pads wasn't the cause in mine, as my pads weren't very worn (surprisingly, after nearly 50k miles), but they were a bit corroded, and were tight in their holders, so they weren't releasing from the disks properly. Even fitting new pads didn't cure the squeal completely, until I ground the edges off the pads, to enable them to move more freely in the holders. Since then, no squealing!

Mine brakes only make a noise when in reverse.

I'm sure I read somewhere in the forums that its a known problem and there is even a modification kit to stop it doing it.
It's a bit irritating but as I don't reverse far up my drive or into parking slots I just put up with it.

I have never had front brake squeal, but both the Panda 100 and my 2017 TA had the rear brake issue. (Same Brakes) The parts for this are £200 from Fiat or £20 on ebay and as its just a weighted bolt I would be tempted to try the eBay Parts. They look identical. My 2019 car has the new bolts fitted and they have not started squealing or squeaking yet.

Front brakes are straight forward and may be a clean and lube would do the job. OE pads have a rather thick pad on the rear side that aftermarket ones don't. Ferodo genuine pads I get from a Ferodo HGV stockist at silly prices. (cheap) They seem happy to get them for me I can only imagine at cost, so I pay cash and add another £5 each time. If you fit new pads try some double sided tape behind the piston as this is similar to the stuff on the new pads. I suspect proper Ferodo /Fiat pads are less likely to squeal as designed for the car. Goofle Ferod, I was convinced to use them once I had seen their research pages.
