Hi guys...wonder if you can help. I have a Panda 2013 4x4 TA. A great car...very pleased. But no towing eye. Does anyone have one for sale, know where I could get one....or have the dimensions of one.

I searched the forums and found that they are 260mm long, but no thread information.

Of course I hope it would never be needed....but....

Any help appreciated.

We have a ‘63-plate Panda 4x4 TwinAir and I just had a quick look at ours.

Now, a quick caveat - when our car was delivered, it had the wrong (14”) size spare, (yes, I know some say you can drive with that, but I’m not risking the drive train on a 4x4 with mismatched wheels) so we pushed for the dealer to replace with the ‘fix & go’ kit, with a view to buying a 15” spare, so it is *possible* that they put a kit in from a different Fiat model (kit is unmarked with model).

However, our towing eye is ~310mm in length. The eye protrudes a little forward of the front bumper line when fitted, but not excessively. Seem to recall that the length of the 4x4 is slightly longer due to deeper bumpers than the stock Panda, so may be related?

We moved recently and I can’t find my calipers, but the Outer Diameter of the thread is 16mm, measured by eye against a rule.

It all fits and I’m going to try to add photos here for reference. ??

PS - checked and there is no part number stamped on the eye.

Go to the fiat dealer parts counter and order one, they may be a little more than you’d expect for a piece of metal with a hole in but they will provide the correct one for your car that won’t damage your car by being the wrong thread or a short thread length that pulls out. It’s important you get the correct one for your car, even though in all likelihood you’ll never need to use it.
