Wonder if any one has had this fault on there 1.2 panda before.
I have a 14 plate panda lounge which has started to bring on the eml light while standing at traffic lights for longer than 1 min with h/brake on and in neutral, no warning signs or hesitation but when fault appears the engine speed goes up to 1500 rpm until I turn the car on and off again. Had the code read comes up as P0101 mass air flow or volume air flow sensor circuit range performance problem. Have already changed map sensor and cleaned throttle body still no difference. Any advice will be very helpful.

Just read your post re the P0101 code, had this same fault with our panda which is also 1.2 2014. We ended up changing the map sensor and throttle pedal as well as throttle body but it was still doing it, in the end I refitted the clutch switch which I had removed to stop the annoying auto rev when the clutch is raised and the problem went and has never returned. Hope this helps.

Hi.
Removal of the clutch switch will cause this if it is not left in the "pedal up" position. If the ECU detects it constantly down then the MIL comes on and engine revs rise. The switch if not removed may be faulty in the OP's case if still in situ or if removed not in the clutch up position.
