All,

Much comment is made regarding MPG, and some of the figures quoted on here would make me very unhappy.

I'm now 4500 miles into ownership of the TwinAir Lounge and have to say I absolutely love it, mines black with the red interior.

On the topic of mpg, now term has finished and the wife is not driving the car, I'm starting to get 'my' stats from the car and of course it's getting more run in all the time.

Basically I record mpg using trip B and reset every 1000 miles, using trip A for each trip I do.

My latest 1000 miles is currently running at 60mpg, this obviously includes all the reversing from the drive, parking in car parks etc etc as well as the glorious running at around 45 to 50mph where the fuel consumption appears to be tiny.

My first 1000 was 51.2 and 2,3 and 4 all around 55.

I regularly get 70mpg on the 12 mile round trip to the local town with a record of over 73!

I really drive for mpg in the Panda, as I have another car for fun, so changing gear at around 1900 rpm just so the engine doesn't labour in the next gear, very gentle throttle, accelerate down hills and coast up the other side.

On an open run the Panda will do the 67 combined Fiat claim, but it's so easily destroyed by a junction / traffic lights etc.

All my running is with Eco on, until I want to overtake - which I do, I'm not shy either, so the averages do include some full throttle work.

Someone reported that they got the best results with Eco off, so I'll give that a try and see if I can beat my records.

Regards

Jon
